250 Credits to earn FACHT (S)
ANOTHER 250 Credits to earn FACHT (D)-must already have FACHT (SM)
FACHTS
Fellows of The American College of Healthcare Trustees can earn the designation of Fellow with Special Merit (FACHTS) by earning 250 credits over the course of 36 months after initial acceptance as ACHT Fellow. The application for Special Merit designation must be approved by a committee of Fellows who will evaluate the application for quality of activities undertaken and breadth of activities. For instance, since the ACHT has a mission to encourage meta-leadership, it is expected that the applicant's learning activities will encompass all components of The ACHT Curriculum in which belts are offered. If the committee determines that the applicant has an inordinate number of credits in one area, especially the area in which the applicant is employed, the committee might require that additional activities in diverse subject areas be undertaken. One example might be a human resources executive who had a preponderance of learning actives in HR and a paucity of credits in other areas.
