Asilomar rocksThere are so many new and exciting things happening at the American College of Healthcare Trustees that it's hard to know where to start. On November 15th - 17th conference on "Integrated Approaches to Pain Management and Assessment: Solutions to the Opioid Crisis" is far advanced in the planning stage. We at the ACHT feel that it will be an important community service. It will held in the Baltimore-Washington area. Please mark your calendars. Now is a good time to pin down your sponsorship of the American College of Healthcare Trustees because of the good will it will engender for your organization and the many other perks.

Sponsorship now will encompass at least two conferences. Please make your registration for June 24th stockholders, board of directors, and quality and safety meeting now. In the spirit of transparency, Fellows and friends are invited to attend our June 24 one day event with check-in at 11:30 am, luncheon at noon, BALTIMORE HARBORBoard, Stockholders Meeting 1 pm-2:30 pm and quality and safety meeting 2:30-5 pm. Space is very limited and registration is required. Register for June 24 event here.

We have now made available a free prescription discount card which can make a huge economic difference to people with high-deductible health plans or people who are on medications that are not covered under their plan. You may offer it to your patients, colleagues, family, or friends who can get the app for their phone or physical card at this site http://rfwi.se/acht which you are also free to post on your website as a good will gesture to your clientele.

Another way to access this great FREE money saving service is to text "ACHT" to 22822. Another exciting new venture is a relationship with WOW Health Plan which introduces transparency to the healthcare market. Please contact Dave Levien if you want more information.
