Phoenix cactusThe American College of healthcare trustees, as an organization, and through the efforts of its individual Fellows, is working to improve the quality of healthcare. As an organization we have had 5 great conferences, which have provided great information, cross pollination, and networking to registrants. Two have been held at the Mount Washington Johns Hopkins conference center, one on the campus of Georgetown University, one at the Westin Hotel at historic and beautiful Rittenhouse Square, and one on the storied Monterey peninsula. Our conferences are intended to provide learning opportunities to help our Fellows and friends stay well-rounded and able to practice meta-leadership. Our badge program facilitates documentation of engagement in the governance and leadership space. Our conference this fall will be dedicated to doing our part to combat the opioid crisis. Future conferences will beThe Johns Hopkins Mount Washington conference center on information technology management, business decision making, and quality and safety. Please let us know if you wish to contribute to the planning of any of these conferences. We often highlight the activity of our fellows in our mailings. They come from a variety of backgrounds, including board members, denizens of the c-suite, physician and nurse leaders, attorneys, ethics and compliance experts, as well as experts in human resources, quality and safety and process improvement, and other experts. Counted among our Fellows are entrepreneurs and executives of major corporations. We welcome with open arms representatives of the community who would like to help us improve the patient experience. Become a Fellow here.
