Labor Day

Labor Day is a Federal holiday in the United States and originated in the 19th century. It is a tribute to the contribution that workers make to American success and prosperity. It is said to mark The unofficial end of summer and NCALabor Day 4A football often plays their first games on that weekend. American retailers find it an important date for sales, second only to Christmas Season's Black Friday. It is considered the last day that it is appropriate to wear white or seersucker. More importantly, Labor Day has become a day to celebrate Rosie the Riveter and all the Roses who worked for the defense industry during World War II, replacing the men who went off to war. Human Resources has been an important
